On-Stage Stands recognized that when musicians purchase a new musical instrument or sound reinforcement component that nearly all their attention is focused on sound quality or the features of their new gear.  The stand that supports their new gear often gets relegated to an afterthought. My solution was to use a bit of humor to convey the message that stands should be an essential factor of the total purchase. I chose an image of a guitar hanging from a tree and paired it with the headline "Don't Forget the Stand."  Other images then fell into place. In addition to concept development, writing the headline and finding images, I also designed the piece leveraging a hierarchical grid that focused the eye on two elements (the headline and imagery) add extra punch to the punchline.
